A mangrove tour price per boat is the bill for your whole group; a Kilim mangrove sharing tour price is multiplied by your headcount. Setting RM300 per boat beside RM89 per person sets a group bill against a single seat.
A fair comparison measures both options in the same unit, under the same conditions: the same-yardstick rule. The fix is putting per-boat and per-person prices on one scale, by converting both to your group's total. The yardstick has five columns, fixed before any pick:

What the extra hours add
Private B costs RM100 more per boat than Private A for one more hour, and its listing adds the beach swim stop. Private C costs RM50 more per boat than Private B for another hour, and adds Dangli Island. On any private boat, package times are estimates: tell the boatman if you want to stay longer at a stop or skip one.
UNESCO names the Kilim Karst Geoforest Park among the country's richest mangroves, where limestone carved by running water helped create one of the region's most important ecosystems. That setting is common to all six; time and stops are what change.
Add back what the price leaves out
Two packages include an item the others leave out, so put a price on that item before comparing totals. Sharing 4 hours includes a lunch set; on the other five, lunch is ordered and paid at the floating restaurant, a different company, where seafood is priced by weight. Private Mangrove + Snorkeling includes a snorkel set; on Private C you need your own set or a rental from the jetty, so ask the rental price.
Every package leaves out three things: entry to the Bat Cave (RM2 per person, payable at the cave), a hotel transfer and a private tourist guide. The last two are available at an extra charge, so ask for those prices when you book.

For two people, the weekend 2-hour seats are the smallest bill at RM178 (RM89 per person); no private boat costs less than RM300 per boat. For the 4-hour trip the crossover comes at four people: four seats at RM120 per person (RM480) cost more than a Private C boat at RM450 per boat, before you price the lunch sets those seats include. For the weekend 2-hour trip it comes at five: five seats at RM69 per person (RM345) cost more than a Private A boat at RM300 per boat.
LangkawiGo's own summary matches sharing tours to solo travellers and couples ("a lower price per person, fixed schedule") and private boats to families and groups ("flexible timing and pace"). The arithmetic agrees for small parties and flips as the group grows, because a per-boat price doesn't rise with headcount until the boat is full.
Start time and booking terms
On a private boat you pick the start, any time from 9:00am to 4:00pm. The sharing tours run at fixed times: 10:30am-2:30pm for 4 hours, and 10:30am-12:30pm for 2 hours on Saturday and Sunday only. Every package meets at Kilim Geoforest Park Jetty: show your WhatsApp booking at Checkpoint No. 3, and park for free.
To book any of the six, send your date and group size to the team on WhatsApp, and they check availability and send the details. For mangrove groups below 20, LangkawiGo takes no deposit: the booking is made on WhatsApp, and the fare is paid at the jetty counter on the day, in cash, by card, by bank transfer or by e-wallet. Those groups below 20 also get free cancellation if they tell the team at least 2 hours before, though nothing is refunded after the tour has started.
Groups of 20 or more pay a 50% deposit. Cancelling more than 3 days before carries no charge, 48-72 hours before costs 50%, less than 24 hours before costs 100%, and a no-show pays the full charge. The policy does not state the charge for 24-48 hours before, so ask before paying the deposit.

For 4 hours, compare Private C at RM450 per boat with five Sharing 4 hours seats at RM120 per person (RM600), which include lunch sets. With children, note that the jetty and the floating restaurant have the only toilets on the route.
A group of nine
Criterion: one boat near capacity. Private C suits them at RM450 per boat, an illustrative RM50 per head for 4 hours. Nine people do not fit one Mangrove + Snorkeling boat (up to 8 people), and nine Sharing 4 hours seats at RM120 per person would cost RM1,080, more than twice a Private C boat.
Snorkelers
Criterion: whether the snorkel set is included. Private Mangrove + Snorkeling suits up to 8 people without sets of their own: RM480 per boat, an illustrative RM60 per head at eight. Private C costs RM30 less per boat and fits 9 or 10 people, anyone who wants the 4-hour route, or snorkelers who bring their own sets.
